Far East Joint AKA Hazel's

Full disclosure, it turns out that I know the owners of Far East Joint, Mike and Hazel and they are delightful! If you get the chance to meet them, you should do so. Additionally, their son is on the grill at times and works at the restaurant (he is wonderful, as well). And, I have to admit, that although the name of the restaurant is Far East Joint, my wife and I refer to it as "Hazel's." I'd like to officially propose "Hazel's Far East Joint" as an AKA or maybe as a name change at some point in the future. 

I have rated FEJ before and gave it a 74/100 with deductions for my food not being craveable enough, but found myself craving the kimchi fried rice and had to return to try it again and so this is a correction review with an 87/100 score. I did have the kimchi fried rice again and am craving it as I write this now. We also had the Joint loaded fries which were good as well. Additionally we had the Katsu Curry and I really like the crisp on the katsu. I also love that Mike replies to every review, kudos!

The food here is delicious. I recommend the FAR EAST FRIED RICE . 

Service..... they are super kind.

This is one of the best carne asada fries that I have had, it was a little more on the lemony side but that's how I like it. The onion rings were really good and the Far East Bacon Burger was delicious and milky. The egg was perfect, it was over medium and the bacon was Smokey. The food was overall wonderful. Far East Joint is in the Lakes plaza! You order first before seating, and they will bring your order to the table. I saw people sit and eat, but there were also a lot of people ordering to go. 

The Joint Burrito is one of my Top 3 burritos in the area. It is packed full with fried rice and bulgogi, each bite was perfect. This is a MUST order!

Wow, first time coming to this place. All I can say is "WOW":):) Me and my wife tried their chicken burrito and beef burrito:) Tried them Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper chicken wings was freakin delicious:):) it has their own distinctive flavor taste of them wings. Never tasted anything like it before:):)
But their burritos is in a different level of something else that is very flavorful:)

Love coming here for some quick KBBQ!
It's located at the "Lakes Mall" in the same plaza as the Edwards theater. The beef bulgogi bowl is my go to! Along with pairing it with a side of joint fries, joint  tacos or the Lettuce wrapped egg rolls! Mmmm!

The food here takes about 15 min -25 min depending on how busy it is. We come usually around 6:30pm which is a good time but if you come on the weekend be prepared to wait a bit longer!

Holy crap! Your lettuce wrapped egg rolls used to be an 11/10... I had them today, and 1/10 is being generous... soggy...the sauce was different...and they were wrapped in thick cabbage... what happened you guys? The food here is great! We tried the burrito and patty melt and both were very flavorful and delicious. The staff members were very friendly and efficient.
